For me, the best thing about being an artist is having a visual diary of my own life experiences. I grew up in New England and moved to Los Angeles when I was 18. Much of my work is inspired by the light and landscape of my adopted city, particularly of the Echo Park and Silver Lake areas where I resided for over 20 years. In the past year, I have returned to my native haunts where I continue to explore themes of color and light in very different surroundings.
