An acrylic glazing project on disconnected panels that seemed to be like looking into another room. For display, built a segment of old style lathe and plaster wall, complete with newspaper, then cut (broke) openings to allow view into the opposite room's space as depicted on the panels. a fun multimedia endeavor of drawing, glazing, & glazing, carpentry and plastering :-D
Curiosity about the other or opposite side of the wall and the people who live there. Often we live years yet never see how they live, what they do, unless greeting them on the stair or holding the door open. I often want to know more, share, look in when I hear sounds of happiness or sorrow through the wall. This piece, though fun seriously let me look in to see what a glimpse of what is on the opposite side of the wall.
