This is the Aesop fable about the milkmaid. She dreamed of buying a beautiful Christmas dress that could cause all the young women to envy and all the young boys to fall in love with her. However, she spilled the milk which she had planned to buy the dress with. The moral of this story---"don't count your chickens before they are hatched." One would think it would have something more to do with eggs than with milk. Oh well, Enjoy!
