African Blue Basil

Art: African Blue Basil by Artist Amie R Gillingham
Ocimum kilmandscharicum x basilicum purpureum

We grow this fragrant herb, known for its strong camphor smell, as a companion plant to our tomatoes to help keep pests away. This is a sterile hybrid and cannot be started from seed. We've done well with overwintering cuttings in water.
