Art: Political Correctness: the Dark Appeasement of King Henry by Artist Alma Lee
This was probably the most involved painting that I have ever done. Weeks instead of Days, and it is quite obvious that it is not a sellable painting, but it's one that best illustrates the way I perceive our world view and the chance that history will again repeat itself. That said its content is gruesome so not for children and
I have to say this is not a over your sofa kinda picture, but I did have a motive, method and personal agenda. I have been looking into the history of the tudor age, and the more I looked the more I came to 2 conclusions: 1. definitely not the time to be a woman 2. The era (much like today) was littered with hypocrites, both heathen and Christian. This happens to be a pet pet peeve for me and really can (if I let it) enrage me. So enough said
