One of the things most people think about with tulips is how they "pop" up in the spring. But I think that there is a much deeper truer beauty that comes with time. Like the wisdom of a woman as she ages. First there are the "cuts" in life, followed by the wounding that so often comes with growth, then the magical era of the physical beauty gradually giving way to the the stately elegance of spiritual growth and wisdom. Therein lies true beauty.
