Picasso I believe had the ability to see a person from every perspective and portray all perspective as a cohesive whole. That has always fascinated me and isn't that the way we all are made. Light sides, darker sides, funny, serious and every attribute in between. So thus this portrait came about, though I, certainly am no Picasso, I have tried to capture his passion and favorite subject matter or so it seems...it the same style and artistic approach as the master of cubism.
