Over the mountains

that stole the Sun

walked a man named Vincent

you know the one

He came upon an orchard

and set up there to paint

such a restful place

for a restless man to wait

his brush unsubdued

his life still young and new

but his soul within,

was tormented and blue

He wondered at his work

still so far from demand

as the work is…so was the man.
