I chose "A little Higher" by Susie Barstow aka Susie Q, because it literally jumped off the page at me one day as I was just passing through ESBQ galleries. She says in her artist statement that she loves the way her birds feathers ruffle. Ah yes there is that, certainly, in bird as well as human relationships. But what really captivated me was the look of love in their eyes. It made me wonder what happened 5 secs after the ruffling of feathers? Surely love would overcome. Indeed I have it on good authority it DID. That was the starting point of my RIP. A Little Later.
