If you continue to obey my teaching, you are truly my followers. 

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

True freedom is not without price. In order to be free, one must let go of all they have held dear, and loved in their life, knowing full well that it may never come back to them.  It seems the moment they do that it sets in motion a cavalcade of events.  They are no longer enslaved by the false and frivolous things and the truth rushes in to fill the void.  When you come to a place that you hold dear truth, Jesus and His love unbinds you from your lies and you are free, beyond all you can imagine freedom entailed.
