We lost our love Trip this week,in a sudden and cruel way.  She had only a few symptoms and thought that she maybe had the flu.  We took her in and her blood levels were whacked out so she was signed up for exploretory surgury the next day. We got a call while she was still on the table and she was filled with cancer, they weren't even sure that she would survive the surgery.  It was a rare extremely aggresive cancer in which she had no hope of recovery.  We decided over the phone not of revive her.  It goes without saying we are devastated.
