Art: Bicycle in Rome by Artist Claudia Goodell

A good friend mentioned her collection of monochrome art, so I thought I'd give that a go. This bicycle was parked outside a restaurant in Rome, and it was such a classic we had to get a photo. My husband captured it well, but I cropped it for this composition. I stayed mostly with a small pallete of black, white, grey, but splashed in a small bit of browns and golds for rust and reflections, and some accents of greens for the moss between the cracks of cobbles and sidewalks. 12" x 12" Oil on gallery wrapped canvas- Original SOLD -
