Cave Mouth aka Melon Seeds

- by Deanne Flouton

This week's theme: Up Close and Personal

Technically, macro photography refers to photography producing images with a 1:1 magnification or higher. Generally, macro photography is used to describe any close-up photograph. Either way, the photographs produced can be intimate and beautiful. They are fascinating images that provide greater detail and offer a perspective of their subject that cannot be captured from a distance.

Art: Cave Mouth aka Melon Seeds by Artist Deanne Flouton
Just melon seeds, but it may look more like the mouth of a ravenous creature or the entrance to a cave with stalactites and stalagmites. Open to interpretation. Not exactly beautiful to look at from this angle, but real!
Digital photo worked on in Photoshop and Studio Artist for enhancement.
