Belltower Toledo

- by Don Stephen Sibley

This week's theme: Towers, Spires and Steeples

"A tree trunk the size of a man grows from a blade as thin as a hair. A tower nine stories high is built from a small heap of earth." -- Lao-Tzu

-Melissa Morton

Art: Belltower Toledo by Artist Don Stephen Sibley
The sketch for Toledo Belltower is one of many line drawings I made while traveling in Spain. In the tower and in the many buildings in the city are the pockmarks of bullets sprayed at them during the civil uprisings. I liked the shape of this building and the friendly cafe atmosphere with colourful umbrellas and relaxed shoppers wandering the streets.
