This week's theme: Time To Focu... Ooh, shiny!

There is so much going on in our worlds and so many things just whiz past us. It's no wonder that we often find ourselves distracted. Since most of us have a bit of the magpie in us, anything shiny, sparkly or reflective frequently attracts our attention. This week Art Of The Day offers a few moments of diversion with a bit of glimmer and shine from the EBSQ Galleries.

Art: Tar Heel Martini by Artist Torrie Smiley

It happens this time every year! March Madness! It is all about basketball. This is the first "Basketball Martini" and it was fun to paint while listening to the game in the background!

Tar Heel Martini was painted using artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped museum quality canvas with painted sides. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
