There is so much going on in our worlds and so many things just whiz past us. It's no wonder that we often find ourselves distracted. Since most of us have a bit of the magpie in us, anything shiny, sparkly or reflective frequently attracts our attention. Trompe l'oeil is one of my favorite styles but it's a lot more work than the easy free flowing watercolors that I usually do. I really like to paint real and this was a great challenge for me.
