This is the first egg in the Chiyogami (Yuzen) series that incorporates the beautiful designs of the handmade Japanese papers.

The egg was made in the traditional batik wax and dye process and also etching technique was incorporated to enhance the design and give it a 3 dimensional feeling. The unetched areas were then gilded with German 22 k gold leaf.
