I found this cool old metal Snail candle holder at the thrift store and brought him home and covered his shell with polymer clay. I added texture to his shell and cured him in the oven, then painted the shell with acrylic and metallic paint. He is a vintage piece and his felt bottom is a little worn but still in great shape. I love the contrast between the shiny metal finish of the snail and the rather matte finish of his shell. For sale in my Etsy shop. Just click on the Etsy logo on my profile page!
