My Hand

- by Gail Cassel

This week's theme: The Human Hand

Four fingers and an opposable thumb. A remarkable, capable combination. Our hands allow us to do so very much. They are both utilitarian and expressive. Hands are beautiful, dexterous; they can create and destroy. They are, inextricably, human.

Art: My Hand by Artist Gail Cassel
My hands are miracles. They fill my home with warmth and love, and appreciation and affection. They give my family a comfortable, welcoming place to live in. They nurture with wonderful food. They create music and art. And when lifted up they praise my God.
