The Birthday Rose

This week's theme: Roses
Red roses, white roses, yellow and pink. Some are small and dainty, some large and showy and some are meant for tissue paper and an elegant box.
This is the rose that my friend Mark picked for me on my birthday in 2006. As you can see from the source photo, I took great liberties with my interpretation.
