Art: Cow/Steer Skull 3 by Artist Ben Walker

Animal skeletons and skulls are a common element on the Day of the Dead altars and represent the sacred passing of a family pet or Animal Spirits

Skull # 3 (long horned steer skull) was painted with spray paint and then fluid acrylics on a real cow skull. The horns on this one are over 4' from tip to tip.
