Pisces Sewing Supplies Bag

- by Søren Mason Temple

This week's theme: Quilts

1. A coverlet or blanket made of two layers of fabric with a layer of cotton, wool, feathers, or down in between, all stitched firmly together, usually in a decorative crisscross design.
2. A thick protective cover similar to or suggestive of a quilt.

Quilts, whether tradional, modern, functional or decorative, are a part of the history and heritage of many families in almost every culture. When you consider this and the creativity, artistry, skill and care with which quilts are created, the above definition hardly seems adequate.

The bag I carry my sewing supplies in! Pockets for my rotary cutter, pens, threads... Each fish is a Jan Mullen quilting pattern, which I arranged as a Pisces symbol.
