Art: Off the Lip (SOLD) by Artist Phil DeAngelo

"Off the Lip" * was a challenge. I started with a 36" x 48" gallery wrapped canvas that was 1 1/2" deep. The nose of the surfboard projects 6" higher than the canvas & 7" wide. Working with different materials & and finding ways to paint outside the lines really seams to add more pop to my POP art. * This painting sold in July of 2006 for $2,500.
