During the month of August, EBSQ holds its annual Pet Portrait Swap. It works just like the EBSQ Portrait Swap except that EBSQ members exchange photographs of their pets. When completed, the artist enters the piece in the Pet Portrait Swap show. As August has come and gone it's now time for you to go to the "Pet Portrait Swap '08" show page and vote for your favorite pet portrait. When you are there, you can even use chipin.com to contribute to the prize kitty. Painted especially for the 2005 PET PORTRAIT SWAP here is Kelly's wee doggie Barkley.
The one thing Kelly asked was to keep her sweet doggies turn out in tact. I was tempted to add little ballet shoes to her little feet but decided she was cute enough all on her own.

Candy is painted in the "Big Eyed" style of Gig or Kean, but I would say inspired by them rather than a copy of the style
