The process for this piece started with a monotype, then the collage parts were added. It's about a woman who sees a representation of a woman that she can't believe, because she has never imagined dong anything other than how she's always done it, or always seen it done. It's part of a series of collage paintings and prints that tell stories about women who struggle with their own expectations as well as others.
