Art: The Key to my Heart by Artist Deborah Sprague
Most unique and different this piece is INCREDIBLE and so difficult to capture in a photograph. These pictures do not begin to show the incredible colors in this piece! ONE of a kind ART Pendant. This incredible work of wearable art took THREE full firings in a glass kiln to achive this effect. The key image is an actual ghost image of a real key that was fused inbetween two layers of glass Recycled picture frame glass. At the percise moment the glass was separated and the key pulled out leaving the image. It was then refired with rescued dichroic glass scrap from my studio floor. STERLING silver reclaimed is melted down to enhance the edges and produce the handle to hang from a chain.
