Art: Grapefruit Wood Hollow Vessel by Artist Daniel L. Miller
This highly colorful piece is made of Spalted Grapefruit wood with a Cocobolo finial lid and four legged base. The vessel wall is 1/4" and the base is a 4.5" diameter rising 3/4" on 4 square turned feet. This lightweight wood has some the most beautiful spalted patterns I have ever seen and is very solid. Sanded to 600 grit and then buffed with the three-wheel Beal system and Carnauba wax for a durable finish.
