This weeks art of the day was chosen by Guest Curator Jasmine Becket-Griffith
The crone, in Celtic mythology, is not necessarily an ugly old woman, but one who seeks to impart mystery and magic to the young--to the maiden. The concept appealed to me, and I wanted to attempt to portray that mystery that women hold between them.
