This mosaic was created for a client who lives in a cold winter climate where his two cats can frequently be found "Looking Out" from their secure window perch.

The piece was constructed of hand cut stained glass adhered to a plywood panel. Grey grout was used for the sky and buildings. A darker color (charcoal) was used for the black cat, frame area and border to prevent grout lines from fracturing the image.

Looking Out was featured in the CD Album "Mosaic Art 3", An International Portfolio of Contemporary Mosaic Art from 2007.

"Looking Out" received a third place award in the 2008 San Diego County Fair Fine Art competition
