Same Girl

- by Robert Charles Tracy

This week's theme: Drawings

A drawing in it's most basic form is a collection of lines that represent a thing or a concept and is uncoloured. This week EBSQ's Art Of The Day presents drawings created using graphite and charcoal.

Art: Same Girl by Artist Robert Charles Tracy
My idea here is that the young girl first ponders what the world is like out there. She concludes that it may contain some danger, but with caution, courage and that heroic feminine curiosity--she ventures out. My technique here is multiple layers of cross-hatching with a Pentel 0.3MM pencil.
