Sweets for the sweet

- by Mary Winter

This week's theme: Doll Art

Dolls are not just children's playthings. They find their way into many aspects of our life. We use them in religious rituals, for decoration, as totems and to personify aspects of our psyche and the natural world.

They can be realistic or abstractly representational but whatever form they take, we continue to create them for all of these reasons and more.

this was a great doll to make . She is 22 inches long, and I used oil paints and sealers on this little dollie. She has been sold to a living new home in LA.
