RED Karmic Position Earrings - Polyhedral Dice Caged in Argentium Silver

- by John Wik

This week's theme: Dice

It's a roll of the dice, a toss of the dice. It's tumbling dice, a crap shoot, fuzzy dice, loaded dice, blow on the dice, the click of the dice, no dice, roll the bones, crapped out, the die is cast. And has been for at least 5000 years.

Art: RED Karmic Position Earrings - Polyhedral Dice Caged in Argentium Silver by Artist John Wik
This is perhaps one of my most interesting and difficult designs. I saw these dice in a local toy store and immediately had an idea to wrap them in wire - I used Argentium silver as it seemed appropriate for the ultra modern design.

The name "Karmic Position" is a way of suggesting that these earrings are endowed with a mysterious beneficial power. The cage rolls the dice in a way that encourages the forces of Karma to align favorably for the wearer. Of course this has not been scientifically or supernaturally tested - no quarantees! ;)

Approximately 1 inch in diameter with sterling silver earwires. They're much lighter than they look - 2/10 of an ounce each!
