This week's theme: Dice

It's a roll of the dice, a toss of the dice. It's tumbling dice, a crap shoot, fuzzy dice, loaded dice, blow on the dice, the click of the dice, no dice, roll the bones, crapped out, the die is cast. And has been for at least 5000 years.

Sometimes artists find themselves in a' series' before they make a conscience decision to "do a series". I am in such a place. I found myself going back time and again using game pieces and parts, so I have started a game series which is alot of fun! This piece is made on a 4X4 canvas using paint, inks, heat transfers along with various papers including old maps, photo transfers, reproductions of old photos, various embellishments and game art. All are protected using acid free coatings and then a protective coating to seal.

This piece is ready to hang because it is on musuem wrapped canvas with painted edges.

I am happy to do commission pieces I can work as large as 36" x24", or what ever size fits your needs.
