Colour photographs capture a scene or a subject as they appear. When we think of dramatic pictures or atmospheric images, we often think of photographs in black and white. Perhaps we think this way because for us, colour is an everyday thing. Maybe it's because visually, a world in colour is more complex. A world in colour may contain more subtleties, but it can be just as dramatic and striking as one in black and white. It's all about how we perceive what we are looking at. This week EBSQ's Art of the Day invites you to look at colour a little differently and even if you don't, we hope you enjoy this week of colour photographs.
