This week's theme: Helianthus

They are named for the sun. Their symmetry is based on Fibonacci numbers. They are native to the Americas, but have traveled widely and have captured the eyes and imagination of people all over the world.

The 58th in my Polish Pottery Still Life Series was done for November's Nibblefest theme, "Holiday". I thought it would be fun to post some Christmas colored Hershey Kisses in to this still life.

This was a fun one to paint. I love painting the shine on the wrappers and pottery and the bounce of colors on everything.
