Art: These Billy Goats Rock! by Artist Tracey Allyn Greene

Created for the February Nibblefest Art Contest on Ebay, theme Fairy Tales, this piece was inspired by the story Billy Goats Gruff, and how they manage to outwit a troll and get to greener pastures, where they live fat and happy. These three goats were a joy to paint, based on three goats that a friend of mine owns. They are way cute, and when I saw them, I knew they'd be perfect muses for the Billy Goats Gruff piece! This is a large piece, weighing roughly 12 pounds, thank goodness for flat rate shipping, lol! But it was a fun and unusual rock shape to paint on, as soon as I saw it I knew it would be the perfect "canvas" for these goats! I hope you enjoy this whimsical piece as much as I enjoyed creating it! This is my entry in the Nibblefest Art Contest.
