This week's theme: Cardinals

We see them in our yards and in our trees all year but there is something about winter and cardinals that seem to go well together. Perhaps it is that bright splash of warm colour that seems to stand out more when the weather is crisp and cold and the trees are bare - even the females seem to stand out. And when there is snow, the cardinal is center stage.
