SOLD A female cardinal rests within a pine, gently being, safe within the softness and shelter of the greenery and boughs. The calligraphy reads, "All is quiet," referring to the serenity that can arise within when the world seems deeply quiet and calm. This piece was inspired by another of my paintings called "Sweet Contentment" (see my sold items). This is an original Chinese brush painting on a 11x14" birch wood panel (made in India). My artist seal is the square seal in the bottom right corner; it was pressed into cinnabar paste, then impressed onto the painting.
