Art: Paris Street Bubbles by Artist Karin Elizabeth Weiss
Here is a digitized photograph from a trip to Paris in the 1960's.... I used a software program called "Liquib" to create the bubbles over the street scene. This is another fabric "paper-doll" project... here the doll has a face (my own from photos taken in the same period) and she is fused to the quilt, as is the little dog and cat.... She has several different costumes which are interchangeable and hold to the quilt with a flannel backing.... clothes are cut from patterns designed by me and fused on interfacing.
