This week's theme: Boys

Circle, circle, dot, dot - now you've got your cootie shot...

We have presented girls and now EBSQ's Art Of The Day gives you the boys. However, as any little girl will tell you, boys have cooties. That is why Art Of The Day "Girls" and Art Of The Day "Boys" are themes with a week in between. It would not do for either the girls or the boys to come down with a case of cooties.

Art: Child Kissing Horse by Artist Sarah Schoenfeld

His family's horse was about to go in the show ring, and the little guy was proud and excited. Truthfully, the horse was not wild about being kissed on the nose. But he was a good sport.

This was a 35mm negative from a horse show years ago. The original image was color, and it wasn't very interesting until I converted it to grayscale and added some 'glow.' Boosted the contrast, cropped even more, and then it looked good to me.

I think it shows the affinity between most kids and animals.
