A Dog's Life: Polish Pottery XXXV

There are many definitions for the word bowl. It is a noun and a verb. This week's Art Of The Day purposes, we are going to present art that illustrates the two definitions most commonly listed first in many dictionaries. Though perhaps not always in a conventional way.

1. a rather deep, round dish or basin, used chiefly for holding liquids, food, etc.
2. the contents of a bowl: a bowl of tomato soup.

Art: A Dog's Life: Polish Pottery XXXV by Artist Heather Sims

The 35th in my Polish Pottery Still Life Series© and was done for August Nibblefest, theme, "Dog's Life". To make a truly pampered pup it is a must to have a Polish pottery dog bowl! This is a Manufaktura dog bowl and this still life was set up with my dog's frog chew toy and dog bone. I love the smile on the frog and he looks so content laying next to the dog bowl. Now maybe this is a "Frog's life"? :0)
