This piece came to it's present state after an extended experimental period manipulating with water media, inks, etc. - the general process being somewhat outlined at

All of a sudden one day mid-process the image began to take on a liquid appearance, and a life of its own. Where little had been the day before, a floral form began to appear out of the mists at the right side of the picture.
With more work and additional days in the process the final form grew more and more clear. Now it is a favorite of mine. This is one of those paintings that I have an unusual connectivity with; but for what reason I'm not at all clear. It has morphed into more studies in the same colors - and different ones - along the same general theme.
