Thursday is Valentine's Day so this week Art Of The Day is all about hearts. All of the art this week is from the EBSQ's Seasonal Gallery where you can find even more Valentine themed art. Art: Flaming Heart by Artist Carolyn Schiffhouer

Created for the Fractal Show.using the Apophysis program. No post processing was used. At the end of a long spiral is a simple heart just in time for Valentines day! Titled, Flaming heart because the spiral seems to be flaming into the heart and giving it a glow. I started with a plain fractal and by changing the variables and tweaking the triangles this heart emerged.
