This week's theme: Autumn Leaves

The Autumnal Equinox has come and gone and soon we will be surrounded by the colours of Fall.

Art: Falling Oak Leaves by Artist Wanda Johnson Pepin
Heavily textured acrylic painting done in vibrant autumn colors. My favorite time of year is Autumn and I love portraying it in my paintings. These leaves are very real looking, I've been accused of taking real leaves and just gluing them on the canvas. LOL This painting has been created using the highest quality archival grade acrylic paint and 1-1/2 inch deep gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted a deep rich brown. This piece has been coated with a clear non yellowing varnish to protect the painting, and it is signed with my initials on the front lower right corner, and is signed with my full name and dated on the back. A certificate of authenticity signed by the artist is also included.
