Nudes in Abstract Series 3 # 34

- by Nancy Denommee

This week's theme: ATC's & ACEO's

ATC's, or Artist Trading Cards, are small works of art about the size of a baseball card - 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. As the name implies, these cards are created and traded among artists. As these small works of art grew in popularity among collectors, artists began creating ACEO's - Art Cards, Editions and Originals, to sell. The popularity of these miniatures - both ATC's and ACEO's, has grown among artists who find it is a fun and challenging format to work in. ACEO's are well liked among artists and collectors because they are a way to make art available to people who might not be able to otherwise afford it or live in a small space that cannot accommodate many larger works. The art of ATC's and ACEO's is as varied in media and style as the artists who create them. If you would like to see more of these small works of art, please visit EBSQ's ACEO Art Card Editions Originals gallery.

This is my entry into this month's NFAC contest.  Artists list a painting for 99cents.  This allows greater access to a sampling of affordable work.  Search for NFAC to find other great art.
This is a loose pen sketch done on an abstract background that I did last year.  I named the abstract Fire and Smoke.
Original one of a kind painting, not a print or copy.  Signed and dated on front, signed, dated and titled on back.
