ATC's, or Artist Trading Cards, are small works of art about the size of a baseball card - 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. As the name implies, these cards are created and traded among artists. As these small works of art grew in popularity among collectors, artists began creating ACEO's - Art Cards, Editions and Originals, to sell. The popularity of these miniatures - both ATC's and ACEO's, has grown among artists who find it is a fun and challenging format to work in. ACEO's are well liked among artists and collectors because they are a way to make art available to people who might not be able to otherwise afford it or live in a small space that cannot accommodate many larger works. The art of ATC's and ACEO's is as varied in media and style as the artists who create them.
