Wasn't it great when we thought we were scaring the daylights out of anyone who answered our knock when we were disguised. Behind our slick shroud and plastic mask, we were invincible!
Then after a few years, we realized it was all an act on their part, and even though they were not it costume, their masks were greater than ours. It is a shame we have to grow up. We lose a lot of excitement.
Even though these aliens are being frightened by an "earthling", I imagine this event is about the same everywhere.
