I go hiking at Bulls Bridge in CT and when you hike near the water line you will always come across Herons. I found this guy when I sat down on a rock to take a break..he flew in and took a break with me. I took out my camera and started taking pictures. Unfortunately I didnt have my telephoto..but I happen to think this is still a pretty shot. I used my Nikon D70 SLR with a standard 18mm-70mm lens..
