I'm a photographer, not a painter. I don't have the patience for it. Ironically I can sit at a computer for hours on end making a photograph "perfect", but when I try to paint (and I DO try) I get aggravated. I do give it a shot once in a while, and this image is my most detailed and serious attempt so far. Maybe its the years of photography that make me look at my own paintings and cringe, or maybe subconsciously I am trying to make them look like a photograph. (Which is funny because I make my photographs look like paintings) I love light and shadows, but for some reason when I have a brush in my hand I can't ever seem to recall where they should belong. I've been working on this one for two years. Maybe someday I'll complete it. :)
