Fairy Treasure. It is 2 1/2 inches from top of wings to bottom of leaf the stone is 30 mm or about 1 1/4 inch by 11 mm or just over3/8 inch on 14k gold. Fairy Treasure was started after looking at some old photos of my son packing up from college dorm this spring. His friend Bobo was walking around in a tutu of about the same color as the stone. Remembering I had this stone and Bobo's habit of collecting stuff, lots of stuff, I decided to make a fairy greedily holding this Black opal stone on an abstract leaf in keeping with the freeform shape of the stone. added to the vice show "greed"
